I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of the witnesses to Jesus. I was very surprised when I saw her.
Let us do whatever we must to take power to ourselves.
Let us then lavish our friends with extravagant gifts from the public purse.
Let us partake of the finest foods and dwell in opulence and luxury.
Let us take to ourselves the mantle of benevolent peacemakers and saviors.
Let us take vengeance on those who dare disagree with us.
Let us enact laws to impoverish, enslave and belittle our subjects.
Let us destroy all that our opponents built.
Let us be gods.
