Trolls

One little detail she forgets to note.

Submission to your Bishop is a membership requirement. If a member publicly chooses to oppose their Bishop, they aren't Catholic any more.

Their "opposition" degenerates into "FORMER-Catholic opposition" which fails to achieve the objective of having dissent within the church. Dissenters leave every day. Assenters join every day. Assent in mind, heart, word, and action is demanded of all members. Failure to assent results in immediate expulsion. It is fraudulent misrepresentation to use the name Catholic if you dissent. Either you are in TOTALLY, or you are out TOTALLY.

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Pope Gregory XVI (1831-1846) "No one can deny that the Church is an unequal society in which God has destined some to command and others to obey."

Pope Leo XIII (1878-1903) declared that there are two distinct classes in the Church: pastors and their flocks, the leaders and the people. "The role of the first order," he said, "is to teach, to govern and to lead men in life; to impose rules. The duty of the other is to submit itself to the first, to obey it, to carry out its orders and to honor it."

St. Thomas 'Everyone is bound to show forth his faith publicly, whether for the instruction and encouragement of other faithful or to repel the onslaughts of adversaries'.

Acts 5:29 Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than men!"

Turning to the service of Truth from whatever you served beforehand is not a betrayal, but a fulfillment. You are where you are for God's purpose, and His purpose is always Truth in Love.

If you are known as a Catholic you have a duty to Truth & Justice to live fully as one now and always. If you have left, or choose to leave, Truth & Justice demands that you rescind the use of the name Catholic in as public a fashion as you allowed your affiliiation to Her to be known.

Mark 12:17 Then Jesus said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." And they were amazed at him.

"...Catholic politicians who “obstinately” oppose church doctrine on such key issues “really have to question their membership in the church.”
